We use a 23 ft. Alumaweld Columbia fishing boat powered by Mercury Marine Outboards with an open floor plan.

Brad Long, Owner and Lead Guide at Manistee River Fishing Company, has over 20 years of fishing experience. Ten of those years he spent working with other guides learning and mastering his passion for fishing.

At a young age, Brad quickly realized, for him, fishing was more than just a sport, it was a passion. He developed a drive to teach others how to fish. It doesn’t matter to him if you are an experienced fisherman or if it’s your first time with a fishing rod in your hand. His goal is to help you get the results you are looking for. From learning a new technique, landing that elusive fish that just keeps getting away, or landing the fish of a lifetime, Brad will be there with you every step of the way to make sure your fishing experience is everything you expected it to be…and more.

Brad has also spent some time each summer for the past 5 years in Alaska as an experienced fly and spin fishing guide. He is incredibly grateful to be able to make a living as a full-time fishing guide. He will be waiting to take you on your next fishing adventure.
